--

On December 8, ebox founders Lukas Schiefer, Paul Simode & Lukas Pratschner answered to a staggering number of questions during ebox Community AMA number 4.

Questions were classified in 5 categories:

🔶️ Marketing

🔶️ Technical

🔶️ Team

🔶️ Utility

🔶️ Vision

Team took tike to answer to nearly 50 questions.

„Why?“

Because community matters to ebox. 😎🥂

Without further ado, may the AMA transcript begin, so enjoy the read!

Paul S.

Hello dear EBOXers! ✌️

We’re excited to be having you with us for our 4th ebox Community AMA, the first one we’ll be holding under our new brand “ebox” rather than the old “ethbox”! ✨

This time, we want to change things up a bit: We will be answering a selection of questions that have been submitted through the form we shared, but will be taking explicit care of all questions that have been brought up by our community members in our Telegram channel – Every single one!

We have grouped the individual questions into categories such as Marketing, Technical etc, and will be answering them collectively. After going through each category, we will un-mute the channel for a few minutes, so we can all discuss together & maybe answer some new thoughts and ideas that popped up in the meanwhile, before moving on to the next category.

If you feel that anything important has been left out, feel free to ask when we’re through with the scheduled questions & categories!

In this new type of AMA session, we will be rewarding every Telegram member who participated and asked at least one question (one reward per person, not per question) with 500 EBOX each. 2500 EBOX will be shared among all questions that we have chosen from the form submissions.

That being said: Let’s go! 🚀

Luke P.

Hey everyone :)

Lukas S.

Hello from my side again :)

Paul S.

(There’s multiple questions per each category, some of which we grouped together, in order to avoid „see above“ / „as already mentioned before“ / etc, that kind of stuff)

🔸🔶 First category of today’s AMA: MARKETING 🔶🔸

Questions 1–4 grouped together:

Question 1.

Will there be marketing campaign to promote our product? currently all our buyers are diamond hands and there is not much attention to ethbox trading wise, maybe trading campaign, collab.. thanks

Question 2.

Ebox’s vision is to make crypto safer for mass adoption, so what steps are you taking or going to take for spreading your words to the world for crypto mass adoption via using ebox?

Question 3.

Hello team, everyone is asking about marketing and other stuff. In my opinion all members are asking because they do not only need price to go up but also they want to grow ebox and serve crypto world with its life changing product. So, what are your plans for solid marketing strategies to raise our voice?

Question 4.

Which strategy of EBOX in the future in order increasing the user? And do you have any event/campaign for our community in future?

Answer:

Yes, definitely.

Right now we are running a Gleam campaign, and we are also working on the liquidity provider bonus program to launch soon. Besides that, we are always seeking for new methods, so if anyone has some expirience with some campaigns, do not hesitate to tell us. One of our plans is to utilize the cross marketing opportunities much more. That’s one thing that should help us getting new people interested into ebox. We always seek for other campaign opportunities too. We have a monthly token unlock for marketing purposes since September and beside having token ready to provide liquidity in case of a new listing, we are going to use these tokens to reward our loyal members and give new people incentives to join or participate in different campaigns & bounties.

As we mentioned above, we will launch different campaigns to get new people interested. The reach out will be done by influencer/crossmarketing/paid ad and everything which comes to our mind. Beside having different campaigns live,we want to deliver educational content about ebox. One of a simple example is the first video. People should have a easy option to get in touch. We need all different type of content, explainer videos, blog articles, press releases etc. We know we need now marketing. Its not only about the tech to get the attention. We have great tech and people just need to get aware. To get this done we need now all different typ of content to spread over all different channels and medias. Beside getting new people interessted into ebox, one of the most important part in growing a community is keeping the community happy. Having a „“small community““ might seem bad on first glance. But it has some advantages too. But its easier to keep in touch with a small community and keep them exactly in the loop. This AMA might be a perfect example. We can take time and answer EVERY telegram question. Nobody should feel like we missed out on him/her, his/her concerns or tipps. So we will try to make the best out of it but are very positive that we gonna reach our goals.

To increase the userbase, one of the most important parts is a user-friendly interface. It needs to be as easy as possible to use ebox services. One example even me personally its kind of contra intutitve if i need to connect to a website to make a tx. To offer it as simple as it can get, we need an integration into a wallet. So people can choose in their private wallet if they want to increase privacy or use safe-sending feature or what else. This can be achived by integrations through different wallet providers such as meta mask for example. We trying to reach out now with our new design and developments to different wallet provider. Nothing yet to disclose or what else. Beside that to have all opportunities we need to develop our own wallet to have an all-in-one solution for the costumers. So we can deliver a mobile app for appstores and a browser extension for desktops. Even me as a founder i always need to think twice to use ebox, connecting to a website etc… I am sure a lot of eboxers think the same. And if they have the chance to use a secure wallet having these option integrated into the basic features… thats one thing which will be needed to increase userbase.

Question 5.

I think we all love the new Ebox brand identity, but when are minor changes like the name on Poocoin, the name/logo on Coingecko and the name on DexTools going to get changed? This might confuse new people, so it would be nice to see Ebox everywhere instead of Ethbox!

Answer:

Thank you for the kind words regarding the new Ebox brand identity. We already requested a lot of changes, some are quicker to adapt, some seem to take longer or the people in charge even forget about it, if you not ping them permanently. Some have already applied a few changes but not all of them, f.e. coingecko which has already updated the channels/links but not the logo + name. We are reaching out consistantely and try our best to get help by different people who could help us get this done asap. Nevertheless for few sites the only way is submitting the general forms.

Question 6.

Great content in whitepaper but it takes a long time to read & dyor. Plan for something shorter?

Answer:

Yes we have planned One-pager for different parts of the Whitepaper such as: Staking as a service, eIPS, other B2B products, roadmap, token utility, „what is ebox“,.. The content is mostly ready, just needs some more fine tuning and working on the graphical concept to present it in a smooth and not overloaded way. That’s one thing which should have been already provided, but since there were some problems – we have to revamp everything on the marketing side & OnePagers is one of these.

Question 7.

When liquidity provider bonus program will start?

Answer:

Liquiditiy provider bonus program is hopefully ready in december. We have figured out most of the parameters which are needed and there is some marketing activity planned for it. We will release it as soon as we get that done.

Question 8.

Why team not make advertising deals with has high followers Twitter and YouTube accounts?

Answer:

We already had some re-tweets from big twitter influencers, but we are continuingly reaching out to new ones. Often it’s hard to get even in contact with them, on the other hand most of them are demanding a huge amount of money. Nevertheless there needs to be a big marketing strategy behind it to have in a short period of time on different channels different mentions, otherwise this is just blowing money out of the window. We are in touch with youtubers, and twitter influencers. But its really not that kind of easy to get in contact with a lot of them as some might think. But understandable since 100s of projects are contacting them.. Anyway we started to reach out on a more active way since december with our new design and developments and there are definitely some who are interessted in supporting ebox.

Question 9.

Is Boxmining still an advisor? Is there a chance he will have us back on his show, or is he having more of an advisory role?

Answer:

Unfortunately, he currently has no resources to feature us, so his advisory position was canceled so far. Anyways, we send Boxmining regular updates regarding the project. And you never know when he gonna pick it up again and wants to feature it. His role was definitely not only as an advisor so is affilation is still given. :)

Question 10.

Having some more ideas, how to get closer involved?

Answer:

We are preparing an ambassador program, in which everyone can contribute his part to spread the word about ebox. Right now we would be happy if you share/refer to our gleam campaign, which runs another 2 weeks until 24th of December. On the other hand we’ll share some community marketing ideas here the channel soon.

Paul S.

Take your time to go through the questions & answers, gather your thoughts and contemplate whethere there’s anything else you’d want to know in this category – We will be un-muting the channel at 17:20 UTC for follow-up questions.

Other categories we will be going into today are:

▪️ Technical

▪️ Team

▪️ Utility

▪️ Vision

Chat is un-muted, anything else you wanna know regarding MARKETING —> Hit us straight-up! 💪

Chat will be muted at 17:30 UTC, when we will follow up with the next category.

Emre Koşun (Community member)

thanks for the replies.

Niffo (Community member)

Do you guys have anything planned for explainer videos for on YouTube? I think there might be a lot of people searching for „sent crypto to wrong address“ related things. It would be great if a Ebox explainer video pops up how to prevent sending to wrong address next time. Maybe like a 2 minute-ish video explaining ebox, because the YT channel only has 1 video right now.

Lukas S.

[In reply to Niffo]

We had already one produced but it didn’t met our expectations, but visual content , especially videos are very important at this stage . They can be easily shared and ebox explained in a short amount of time.

so beside the first video which is about the safe sending (never lose funds) we definitely gonna produce more videos, staking, otc, privacy and the other upcoming tools all needed to be explained in a video

Sentinel (Community member)

Do you have any partners which will help drive ebox’s goal?

Luke P.

[In reply to Sentinel]

We are working in a technical aspect for another project out of the NFT/Metaverse space, which will launch soon. We will also fill an advisory position there, which promises greater coverage, as we are responsible for a large part of the technical backgrounds and will therefore also be presented as empowerment by ebox. Furthermore, we are still in a close partnership with DuckDAO for which we are currently completing work. Further partnerships with other projects are also about to be concluded.

Sentinel (Community member)

How do you see EBOX having NFTs and GameFi?

Paul S.

[In reply to Sentinel]

We will be implementing NFT support into our On-Chain Escrow with the release of Mainnet v2, so user can benefit of our unbreakable smart contract based safety for reversible transactions just the way they’re already doing with ERC-20 tokens.

That aside, we’re planning to do an NFT-based „coupon dispenser“ / „vending machine“ type of thing in the future, but more as a promotional bonus rather than something full-on serious (like our On-Chain Escrow, eIPS etc). Imagine it like a digital dispenser for goodies like „+50% staking rewards for 1 month“ NFTs etc, which can be traded with other users.

Regarding GameFI, this is not something we have on our radar, and absolutely nothing we’re looking to get into. We don’t share this common zeitgeist throughout crypto where projects claim to be able to do everything, but at the end of it, do nothing but grab cash and provide close to zero value.

Ahsan Bari (Community member)

Do you looking to list ebox on tier 1 or tier 2 exchange,? People feels good when they see on cmc or cg that this token is available on some exchanges. It also builds their confidence. Must answer this too. Thanks.

Lukas S.

[In reply to Ahsan]

Yup we reached already out to few of them, anyway nothing we can dicslose or is already in finalizing mode. But like you said it gives people more trust if they see the project traded on a tier 1 or tier 2 exchange. Due to the unlock of marketing token we definitely have more options now available to discuss the listings.

Mueng josip (Community member)

In terms of vision, what is your long-term vision about the industry you are working on. Technology is advancing at a rapid rate and are you afraid a better technology will arise that will topple your project?

Lukas S.

[In reply to Mueng]

Questions regarding the vision will be the last section, so for now i will leave this question unanswered as most probably its answered by the end, but if you feel it has not been answered enough, please repost this question then🙏

🔸🔶 Next category of today’s AMA: TECHNICAL 🔶🔸

Question 1.

It would be great to integrate Ebox into something with active users (e.g. an exchange or wallet). As we already have working products, is this something we are persuing, and if so, what are the biggest obstacles? Also, is it better to integrate into existing wallets rather than creating our own?

Answer:

Yes definitely something we are looking forward to. I would say for now the biggest obstacles we need more manpower to have more resources. There is not much needed to have an API ready for the integration. As soon as we got our Mainnet v2.0 ready we will release an API and our Team will reach out to different wallet provider, exchanges and other partners for integration. We are already preparing the list for all different services, provider who can benefit from ebox services. TBH i do not think that only one or the other, we are aiming for integration through API, but definitely want to provide an all-in-one solution with our own wallet.

Question 2.

What exactly is your roadmap for your project to get better? How close are you to your desired goal in the project?

Answer:

We have an outdated roadmap in our Whitepaper and we will update the roadmap accordingly. That being said, the roadmap will contain all the updates, developments we had the past few months and will give an outlook for the upcoming year. We tend to keep the public roadmap rather short than over 5 years since the space is so quickly developing and so is ebox. The eIPS for example came out of no where, and we really had great progress so far. Nevertheless it needs some more features (front end development) to get implemented. But there is definitely very interesting progress and great utility coming up for the EBOX token. :)

Question 3.

How security your platform, and how security on EBOX? , do you have a team of experts, or collaborate with other companies?

Answer:

Yes, definitely – Nothing would be possible in crypto without proper knowledge and an audit thereof. Together with Fredo & our CTO Paul, we have to highly skilled expert developers on board, who never cease to innovate and create solid solutions. To make sure nothing fails on the smart contract side, all our contracts that handle users‘ funds are being audited by our security partners at CertiK Foundation.

Question 4.

When wil it be ready for launch?

Answer:

We hopefully have the front end ready for the eIPS rather sooner than later. The markets are great and EBOXers need to benefit from this development. Actually only the front-end is missing, all the backend functions are already implemented. Nevertheless we have not started to audit yet, because if there are any changes after finishing the front end, would make the audit obsolent. Anyway since this all takes longer than expected (bc the vision grew after introducing our partners to it) we might release the demo version to the public. If someone can not wait, feel free to contact us and we will showcase something so you have a better understanding. :)

Question 5.

Will the mainnet v2 be released beginning of January as scheduled?

Answer:

Sadly we cannot promise yet that we gonna have EVERYTHING we have mentioned ready at the beginning of jannuary. As things changed, new work appeard through the course of the last few month we might not have every feature ready we mentioned in the wp by the beginn of jannuary, but it won’t take much longer. We will release an updated, fairly new roadmap with all the updates and milestones we have achieved so far and are the next to come. There is a lot of stuff not mentioned in the whitepaper which will be ready and has a much bigger impact than expected and so the utility for ebox.

Question 6.

Do you have a plan for a project-specific wallet? A wallet that can support all networks? A wallet where users can safely store their assets and use a two-step mechanism when they want to transfer currency?

Answer:

Yes thats why we are going to provide our own wallet as well. There are really great wallets out there, but for having the opportunitiy to do everything to optimize and leverage on ebox functions a own wallet is definitely needed, where all our functions are integrated and services are linked.

Questions 7 & 8 grouped together:

Question 7.

How is your otc platform different from other similar platforms? What makes it superior?

Question 8.

Would it maybe be a nice feature if you could add notes to the boxes you send to someone? for example: „payment for …“ This way people that send/receive multiple transactions a day don’t get confused.

Answer:

The OTC Platform is far from being finished yet. For now you have the basic concept ready to use. We got already contacted by different parties who are interessted into our otc function (or used it already) due to low price ,actually right now for free if its not a costum solution , easy to use and fully decentralized. There will be a lot of features moving forward, not sure how uniqe they are at this state such as address verifications, adding notes to boxes market value request, different parameters like multi tokens etc. You can test the OTC feature http://www.ebox.io/app (Rinkeby, eth mainnet, bsc, reef, Polygon)

Question 9.

Are we going to publish ebox on Polygon network? Will past Ama also be listed on Quikswap as mentioned?

Answer:

Regarding Polygon, yes, anyway we do not have the exact date ready yet, but most preparation is already done.

We will announce that as soon as possible, together with an upcoming gov. voting.

Still minor things to consider before we rush that to have it most effective like some other marketing activities we want to run contemporaneous.

Paul S.

We will be un-muting the channel at 17:45 UTC for follow-up questions.

Chat is un-muted, anything else you wanna know regarding TECHNICAL —> Hit us straight-up! 💪

Tobias

Hey guys! Thank u for taking time to do another ama.

Have you tried to have another crypto CEO or cofounder onboard as an advisor?

Estimation date for eIPS, one pagers and videos release?

Lukas S.

[In reply to Tobias]

tbh not yet. It was not on our radar for now. But could definitely make sense and help us building our network.

We are collaborating with different CEOs but they actaully do not have a explicity „advisor“ role.

Estimation date for the eIPS is not fixxed yet but we hope to get everything done till end of december, including all the new features

one pagers- Few of them are nearly finished, only design missing – others will likley be finished later (2–3 weeks) or probably for jannuary (like the one for eIPS)

Videos – we will work on it to get them asap – personally i am really big fan of videos and they will be needed to spread our word fairly around the globe

Tobias (Community member)

Clear answer

Ty

Love your transparency guys!

Ahsan (Community member)

Ama is going very nice guys.

Cetin (Community member)

More info from partners like reef polygon what we do on her sites

Luke P.

[In reply to Cetin]

We are still in contact with the projects mentioned and also work with them on a good basis. Generally relevant topics and news are also shared from their side, such as our rebrand. Above all polygon, since, as already mentioned, we will launch our token there in addition to the already functional ebox dApp.

Sentinel (Community member)

How is the security of your codes tested against odds it encounter

Paul S.

[In reply to Sentinel]

Aside from our extensive experience (I personally come from a background of heavily security-focussed software engineering, reverse engineering, penetration testing, that kind of stuff – have been coding C/C++ & Assembly and handling very in-depth aspects of code for around 20 years now), we practice extensive testing on all our services & solutions before we go live.

Together with the smart contract audits that CertiK Foundation does for us, that makes for a pretty much bulletproof combination (saying „pretty much“ here, because if there’s one thing I learned from my experience, there is no such thing as 100% bulletproof when it comes to computer tech).

That leads me to: Having this in the back of our minds, everything we do is developed in such way that we require as little trust from the user as absolutely necessary – Best example is our In-Wallet Staking model, which we’re now also providing to other crypto projects.

You probably know that it’s common practice in crypto to require users to lock their tokens in some smart contract in order to parcitipate in staking – Worst case, if you’re dealing with shady scammers, you could be frauded for your deposited tokens AND the reward you would be getting.

In our case, even if we were bad people and we wanted to steal from users, we COULDN’T, technically, by design. Obviously, none of this is our intention, but we prefer to design things in such way that it’s not even possible. 👌

Paul S.

Channel has been muted, we will be moving on to the next category shortly – Before though, there’s an important announcement we need to make:

We were meaning to drop this along with the marketing category, but missed out on that, so here goes – It’s quite relevant and also somehow a bit of a painful thing to be talking about, but speaking of transparency, it’s something you all need to know.

As you’ve all witnessed throughout the last months and weeks, we’ve been meticulously preparing the process of our rebranding together with our creative partners at „between collective“ – We had planned to be releasing weekly videos, fresh juicy content, nice graphics for our announcements, etc etc, all the stuff that makes our brand shine and sparkle the way it deserves to.

Unfortunately…

… Things didn’t quite go as expected in this regard, and without pointing fingers, accusing or blaming, we have to say that we were quite let down here. Pretty much in the middle of the rebrand, „between collective“ decided to (rather randomly, the way we see it) call it quits and just leave us there, by figuring they don’t want to work with us anymore.

Needless to say, this has been a pretty major letdown for us. We were looking at having all these things (videos etc) realized… in the past, actually, but at least in the future… Which will no longer be with them as a part of what we’re doing.

Let’s all keep our heads up & facing straight forward here though, we’re already in the process of engaging new creative people and/or a new creative agency to be our partner in this regard, to get us that wonderfully polished brand we’ve been working towards for so long – In the meanwhile, we’re doing our absolute best to keep things together and make the best impression we can towards both our community and newly joining members. The graphics you’ve been recently seeing for announcements, for example (we all really like those) – Those weren’t made by BC, we did (just as an example), so we’re totally handling stuff here.

In any case… Everyone, please make up your own minds. Again, we don’t wanna point fingers or anything. Reflect upon this with your own thoughts if you feel like it, don’t take this as any sort of influence, and see things with stoic optimism: ebox will always march forward, and is here to stay. ebox is part of the crypto world of today and tomorrow, and we all know that we have all that it takes to make this rock-solid reality.

Cheers to everyone for being with us – Thank you all for your ongoing support! ♥️✊🚀

Alright, on with our AMA!

🔸🔶 Next category of today’s AMA: TEAM 🔶🔸

Question 1.

Do you have the funds/plan to hire more people, or do feel you have enough staff to achieve your goals?

Answer:

We definitely looking for more people. On dev side and marketing side as well. We have already someone ready who will do all the outreach and partnership management (Key account manager / sales / outreach). Social media manager to have daily posts and visual content fiting our new brand identity. We are in talk with a content writer to have good written content constantly spreaded over different media channels on a weekly basis and blogs for regular updates.

Question 2.

Plan to recruit more devs or increase team members? Someone full time in charge of marketing?

Answer:

We are looking to increase the developer team, by at least 1–2 people, its not an easy task finding good team members who really fit to what we need. We would love to get people out of our community since they are most likley to feel the spirit of ebox. Nevertheless we started to reach out to people outside as well to have a bigger pool of interessted people. Some are already in prepartion. On the marketing side we have someone who will actually start their work next week (the key account manager mentioned above).

Paul S.

Chat has been un-muted, as this was rather a short category & I guess there’s not so much time needed for going through all of it. :)

Ahsan (Community member)

Sorry to hear about between collectives, let them go and step forward, all crypto world is moving forward without those people

Tufan (Community member)

If the people who believed in the project from the first day are still working for the project, the separations don’t matter, keep going

Emre (Community member)

I am very merciful. :D

Paul S.

Chat will be muted at 18:25 UTC, when we will follow up with the next category!

Sentinel (Community member)

Are you team members picked from strategic places all over the world, to have dynamism or just from a specific location?

Paul S.

[In reply to Sentinel]

Neither one nor the other – We don’t pick our team based on geographic location or nationality, but by skill, talent and (com)passion! 💪

Slightly Awesome Blueberry (ebox CM)

I’ve been organically homegrown, carefully picked and genetically enhanced for maximum ebox quality.

Lukas S.

[In reply to Slightly Awesome Blueberry]

😂😂 loving it ❤️

Professor DeFi (Community member)

How is the trust level and group dynamics between team members

Paul S.

[In reply to Professor DeFi]

Honestly? Grade A, couldn’t be better – None of has ever worked in a company or with people with whom we all get along so nicely. Everyone in our team works together in harmony, we respect each other, noone looks down on anyone. We’re all acting on eye height, and whenever we decide what to do next, it’s the best idea that counts, not who said it.

That’s the good part about being able to gather your team from all over the world – You get a very good grip on making sure that everyone vibes together well, and that at the end of the day, we’re all delivering the absolute best thing we can… :)))

Professor DeFi (Community member)

But you said geographic location funny matter 😂😂😂

Paul S.

[In reply to Professor DeFi]

Slightly Awesome Blueberry is a particulary entertaining fellow if that’s what you mean, but I’m more than certain this has nothing to do with his heritage, but much more with his bright & sparking personality, hahah :))

Ahsan (Community member)

He is also very responsive and supportive for all group members. We witnessed that

Lukas S.

[In reply to Professor DeFi]

100% thats the passion we are talking about ❤️

Professor DeFi

Is there opportunity for promotion and incentives to team members who strive harder to achieve EBOX’s goal?

Paul S.

[In reply to Professor DeFi]

Yes and no, somehow – We’re not striving to create competition amongst our own lines, cause we all want to work together for what we believe in, rather than against each other.

That being said, we’re obviously rewarding competence, skill and dilligence, so if anyone is standing out by doing an extra-awesome job, it’s more than certain that we will notice, respect and (financially) appreciate this! 👌

🔸🔶 Next category of today’s AMA: UTILITY 🔶🔸

Questions 1–3 grouped together:

Question 1.

What would be the incentive of people (not veteran investors) to buy the Ebox token and by this raise it value.

Question 2.

Is there an intended use for the Ebox token or is any planned use for it?

Question 3.

Where there some ideas considered to incentivize buying and holding Ebox? For example introducing discount using Ebox transcations if the user holds Ebox?

Answer:

EBOX has a lot of different utilities, such as discount on fee, there are different tiers and different discounts based on your holding; governance to help find the best decissions as a project; payout as passive income; same as staking for the first 4 year. Last but not least there is the token burn mechanism. We had our first token burn back in September. EBOX takes 25% of all revenue streams to buy back ebox and burn them, 25% is used as a payout.

For the first 4 years where payout might be lower due to building stage we offer the staking, which is basically a very simple „“in-wallet““ staking, just by holding ebox in your private wallet, you can earn apy ranging between 5–30% depending on your bonuses. Long term holder benefit from short term traders since this will increase their apy. At least that was the basic setup of ebox, moving forward providing new services, adapted services the token model is likle to gain on traction.

For some of our upcoming services we will might include holding ebox as madatory. This could be very interessting for ebox and its scarcity depending on the service and adoption, but there are definitely great opportunities lying in front of us. Not much more time needed till we can start earning these fruits :).On another note we might have this month our second buyback and burn and therefor next month an increased payout while speaking about the utilities.

This buyback could be way bigger than the previous one. We will keep you updated as soon as everything is finalized. :)

And last but not least, we will ALWAYS increase the value of EBOX. If this is being done by new services or by adoption there are really ton of ways how we can and will increase the utlity over time for ebox, so the list will grow and i got the feeling that it will not take long till people will realize :)

Paul S.

We will be un-muting the channel at 18:30 UTC for follow-up questions.

Chat is un-muted, anything else you wanna know regarding UTILITY —> Hit us straight-up! 💪

Ahsan (Community member)

Token burn is comming guys.🚀🚀🚀

Lukas S.

[In reply to Ashan]

Yes and definitely bigger than the last one, but we will release all numbers as soon as ready and finalized :)

Ahsan (Community member)

Great. This news must be shared through ebox twitter account too

Lukas S.

[In reply to Ashan]

Yes will definitely shared on all our channels :)

Tobias (Community member)

How often Buy back & token burns are done? Random date or Once per trimester?

Will that frequency increase depending of ebox adoption?

Lukas S.

[In reply to Tobias]

Yes moving forward with adoption with constant inflow the token burn will definitely be on a constant basis, most likley on monthly basis.

For now token buyback, burn and payout is done on a random date as soon as we sold one of our services and generated cashflow.

Paul S.

Chat will be muted at 18:45 UTC, when we will follow up with the next category!

Emre (Community member)

We would love to see you on twitter.

It will be useful.

It is one of the places where investors are looking for the founders of the project.

Paul S.

[In reply to Emre]

The thing is, none of us uses Twitter for private purposes outside of crypto – We’re not sure if that wouldn’t make for an „empty“ feeling, cause after all, we’re sharing all the relevant ebox info through the official ebox Twitter account. It might feel a bit forced to have the three of us (or just one of us) start cultivating a personal (but still official ebox) Twitter account, but you definitely have a point there that we’ll be keeping in mind! :)

For verification purposes, we set up LinkedIn, but that also has a bit of that „empty“ feeling to it, cause we had no need for that at all in our „pre-ebox lives“, we got along perfectly without it, so yeah… 😶😂

Have you thought of integrating utility into pay systems, air tickets or online shopping

Luke P.

[In reply to Professor DeFi]

We happened to be talking about it recently, but we need to consolidate our current utility and focus on the open projects. A similar idea (but just the idea for now) is definitely on the table & thanks for the input, we’ll keep that in mind.

🔸🔶 Last category of today’s AMA: VISION 🔶🔸

Questions 1 & 2 grouped together.

Question 1.

Where do you see Ebox in three years?

Question 2.

What would you change if you went back to the beginning of the project? What was your worst experience or event on the project?

Answer:

Difficult to predict the future of EBOX. We will definitely keep building and since most of these service will work as a leverage function, its hard to say where we will stand in about 3 years.

If we look back now to what happened in the last nine months since our IDO, there would be a lot of things which we had not expected at the start, different kind of services, opportunities and problems. Three years gives us personally the feeling of having really enough amount of time to build very solid stuff and there is absolutely no way someone can oversee ebox by then.

We can’t imagine a future without ebox and we’re sure at this time most people will realize that. We are learning on a daily basis and are growing with every move and so can the expectation. Due to our learning curve and for example increasing the manpower, we will be capable to much more than before.

What would we change from the start?

To be honest, looking back we sure made mistakes, such as maybe involving wrong parties, but again sometimes you don’t know before and in the end it helped to form us and there are no mistakes which will have bad impacts over time. For every problem there is a solution and mistakes often get you to a better solution than before.

Question 3.

My cost is 0.9 and you guessed it, I’ve been holding it for a very long time. What would you like to say so that people who bought the project with a similar cost to mine do not lose their hope?

Answer:

Especially to these people who bought the top and still holding like diamond hands. Side note: We are one of those, why? Because we as a team really believe in this project and in our vision. We as a team feel sorry for every temporary lose. But as we stand here we can promise you, that we will keep building and keep getting better as ebox. We have not shown any thing near the full potential. We are sure that hard work will pay off and we definitely needed some time to learn the rythm and adapt (which we will keep while moving forward) but ebox is definitely here to stay. There is absolutely no way we let you down and after being nearly one year more than as an investor in the crypto space, i can gurantee you there is plenty of stuff which ebox can and will deliver. ebox is so much more than just a project or a company. Rough times have the opportunity to make us stronger. We are not here to lose, we are here to provide solutions and setting our foot print in stone - we are united in this conviction. The crypto space is still very unmature at this stage, so we’re sure we’ll keep delivering useful stuff and ebox will get the attention it deserves.

Question 4.

A straightforward question: Why the RE-BRAND? Any problems or issues you’ve encountered with the Previous brand? Tell us.

Answer:

Due to our multi-chain functionality, people were often confused at first glance as everyone expected our service to only be live on the Ethereum blockchain. But as you all know we are live on ETH, BSC, Polygon & Reef (and more to come). To be honest, it’s nothing that we haven’t been aware of since day one. We might not have expected it to appear this quickly, but we’re more than happy with the way it has developed. Before that, we didn’t have a real brand identity, although personally we really liked the design of the logo, the old website appearance, etc. . However we are very satisfied with our new brand identity and feel very comfortable with it. But to answer the specific question about the „problem“ we had, it was that people expected us to be a single-chain, not a multi-chain project. And we all know how most people do not tend to make DD, and tend to buid their opinion without further inputs. So to not give them possibility to do so in the future, we rebranded.

In terms of vision, what is your long-term vision about the industry you are working on. Technology is advancing at a rapid rate and are you afraid a better technology will arise that will topple your project?

Lukas S.

[In reply to Mueng]

To answer this question now….

technology is advancing at a rapid rate and so are we. We are absolutly not afraid facing competition. There is a reason why we found this opportunity and there will be far more moving forward.

Competiton can inspire and open up new opportunities and challenging can help improve the product. In the end we are focusing on our stuff because thats what will bring us forward.

The long term vision about this industry – We are still at the very beginning.. most technology is far away of being „finished“ if this is even possible in this industry… We really believe that defi is a very important part for the future world. People gonna trust less and less 3rd parties and thats exactly where defi can step in.

The past only showed that to us and i think there are amazing opportunities ahead of us all. So to keep it short we are very bullish long term :))

In what steps do you want to achieve your vision in the future and which from your vision will you begin with

Paul S.

[In reply to Sentinel]

What you’re questioning here seems a bit abstract at first, but isn’t at all actually – Having a firm grip on precisely that… is a major key point towards realizing our goals, in that we have to know which strings we’re pulling on in order to make things happen the way we intended to & have been envisioning it since before day 1 of (formerly) ethbox.

Most of all, we believe in the power of the community. If you look at where we come from, „from the community, for the community“ has been an expression that we’ve always been carrying with us. This is not marketing, but actual, genuine conviction.

Why? Because in the end, it’s in the hearts & minds of people that you need to find a home for your vision & idea, if you want to make a change in the world. It is only when people truly believe you, that you actually have the possibility of leaving a long-lasting positive impact. One can only reach through to the core inside each and every single individual, when people are convinced that you mean well, and you’re set to do a damn proper job in everything you put your hand on.

This is exactly what we’re aiming for, always have been, and always will. We’re not here for quick money or whatever, we want to make a difference in a way that we personally see as necessary, as something that has to be done in order to make the world a better, safer place.

Crypto is here to stay, that’s more than certain. However, as of now, the general state of things in crypto resembles more of an anarchic wild-west situation, rather than a place that’s safe and beneficial for everyone. You can get scammed and ripped off at every corner, and people with malicious intentions have way more handle on everyone’s reality than should be possible.

Just like you, we are firm crypto believers – We see the need for blockchain technology and cryptocurrency transactions to be part of everyone’s everyday life, simply because it empowers people so profoundly, all while lessening the need for rules and constriction imposed from the outside (i.e. by governments, banks, regulatory institutions etc).

We’re not the kind of people to just sit around and watch things unfold by themselves – Much rather, we prefer taking things into our own hands and start shaping reality, just like we did when we started this project. We want the best of this world, minus all the potentially dangerous stuff that goes on & is still technically possible.

So, boiling it all down: In the big picture, we see no way around mainstream adoption of (some, if not most of) our services & solutions. Our first step was our On-Chain Escrow (our current dApp at ebox.io/app), and from there on, we have continously been extending our outreach to new horizon – We are all more than thrilled for the things we’re working on, that are yet to come, such as our own MetaMask-like browser extension, which will integrate ebox safe sending directly into your browser wallet.

Given the emerging new innovations in crypto which interests you, and which would you integrate into your vision into the future

Luke P.

[In reply to Professor DeFi]

As already mentioned, we are working for a project in the NFT / Metaverse area, both on the technical side and in the advisory area. But that’s not all. Since we, as a relatively young DeFi project, are always working on the ravages of time and thus on the latest state of the art, so there will always be many possibilities. The DeFi area as a whole is still in its infancy, so a lot will happen here, which we look forward to and of course will always try to offer the best solutions, those that are needed to make crypto more secure and user-friendly.

Once eIPS will be ready will you contact different launchpads and daos?

Paul S.

[In reply to Tobias]

Definitely, that was the plan for the whole thing – Technically, eIPS is pretty much complete & ready (smart contract is finished). Reason we haven’t released it yet is that we have decided to also incorporate a front-end dashboard with extensive analysis & overview for users to track their investments etc, and will be making that part of the complete eIPS package (rather than „just“ delivering the back-end to projects like we do with our In-Wallet Staking, as initially intended). 👌

Tao (Community member)

It is not easy to carry out the vision and mission in building projects and will inevitably experience obstacles in its implementation, so how can the team always contribute to each other to always stick to the vision that has been made even though many problems will occur in the future?

Paul S.

[In reply to Tao]

That’s part of life, and always will be – All we can say here is that we’re a proven & tested, highly resilient bunch. We don’t quit until our goal has been achieved… Stick around and find out! 👌🚀

Alright everyone, that’s that – We’re hereby concluding today’s Community AMA #4, thank you all for being with us once again! See you all around! ♥️
